new question ? i have 1/4 tank left of 87 oct .. can i fill up with 91 oct and run the performance tune or do i need all the 87 gone ?

Hey Scott - can you check on the MDS light (Econ light) issue on the 2010s for me please? Last I heard (from Chris) - was that the guy who works on that was on vacation (this was around Memorial day I think) - but I haven't heard anything on it.

Some people over on DT have said that the "ECO" light only comes on when you are driving in an efficient manner (********), which I think is nuts (see prior comment). I've seen it come on when I am at WOT. It doesn't "bother" me, just is weird.

Now, where do I sign to get rid of ESP? I know you smart fellers know how to get rid of it.

Just so you know, out MDS tuning is working when you tune it with the programmer, Dodge just added a new operation that engages the light that we have to write code for to work with the SC settings properly.

We hope to have it fixed soon after our Cummins racing product is released which should be right around the corner.

So far attempting to tune ESP has become quite a Pandora’s Box unfortunately and so far we haven't had any positive results from our brief testing of that option.

If the direction of that option changes I will be sure to post more info on our results.

Unable to load my new SC3865 in my 03 Ram1500 SXT-Hemi
Went to the dealer today and went over all the work done with the Technician and Service Manager. Basically came down to, my truck's PCM is operating correctly without any DTC's. The Diablo will load into the truck as was proven after the first PCM reflash. I have not tried to reload it after the second reflash which was more of a update check than an actual reflash. Only the SC3865 has a problem with loading. Jason from SC called to let me know the technicians are working on my problem and I updated him with the information from the dealer. He said he will get back to me in a couple days.
Here is some information the dealer gave me about the PCM reflash with StarScan. The Tech plugs into the truck and StarScan checks for updates, if it is determined there is an update available then it is installed. Older PCM versions cannot be installed. The PCM cannot be cleaned and reflashed. There is apparently a very thin line between an operational PCM and it being a paper wieght. I am not 100% convinced with what the dealer has told me and will seek a second opinion at another dealer. But as it stands, there are no DTC's meaning the the different modules are properly identifing one another and are communicating. So the problem now looks to be with the SC3865. When I attempted to initially load the new tuner it stopped with an notice stating "Vehicle requires update" and record "56028769AF". This information has been pasted on to Jason at SC. Wish me luck....

Could have been the other programmer. That product is known to not fully restore the stock file. I've seen this before. It may not be the issue, but it's a possibility.

If it's just a vehicle update and it isn't something they can't fix that was left behind, they'll square you away. Good luck!

Sil, can you clarify? I have had the PCM updated to the latest version. And and again checked for updates and it was said to be the latest. If the StarScan determines there are no new updates available, I am told the StarScan cannot force a reflash, but just notes "no new updates available". The truck is currently running stock with no DTC. Dealer stating "there is no problems with the truck". IDK, waiting for (SC) Jason to do some magic.....
