Ok, best way I know how to ask this is to start with a story.

I'm on an on-ramp on to the interstate....so I'm in a turn and accelerating. I'm at about 55mph, still in a turn, and I hit a bump (could be a pot hole, could be where theres a repair in the road so theres a bump) and my back end kicks out.

What can I add to the truck to assist with preventing the kick out? It did it when I was completely stock, since I have added Bilstein 5100s all the way around and added springs and it has gotten better. Is that about as good as it gets? Will control arms (upper or lower) help or a sway bar?

I drive a lot of back roads that aren't properly maintained so this is a common occurrence when driving, a lot of hills, tight turns, and a lot of bumps.

Just looking for suggestions.

My opinion is a rear sway bar. I had a 2010 Camaro 2SS it would do that too. The kick out as ya describe it is actually the rear axle unwinding (loss of traction then instant traction). Kinda like a hop.
I got a heavier sway bar and the problem was 90% improved. Now granted my hop speed was well over 55 mph. For your truck that’s where I’d start as it’s the cheapest and most crucial place to start.

Play with air pressure in rear tires . Sometimes to hard will make it hop on rough road plus its free.

Adding a Hellwig rear sway bar will help your truck even if it doesn’t eliminate the hop.
