Once again I have not gotten any notifications on this thread. I have however stocked up on some oil just in case. I have some Valvoline EP for the Grand Cherokee and Advanced for the Wrangler. I have enough RL for the truck for years since it doesn't far anymore.

Thinking about stocking up on some Amsoil as well. Is this shortage going to affect non Group 3 oils tho? I saw somewhere in the several pages I missed that catalyst for the ester is derived from crude but overall PAO and esters aren't really reliant on crude right?

look at the colors they didn't show! Man they posted the weaker colors, I don't know what I like best green, black or white.

Amazing looking trucks, truly what the loudest in the crowd has been asking for.
But... with all the new technologies and garbage they are putting in new vehicles, I have been saying the vehicles I have now I hope to be the newest I will own. The mandated kill switches and subscriptions to options and such. As each new tech is talked about I see it as more control over outragous prices payed for vehicles today that the owner has less and less actual.... ownership shall we say, of their newly puchased vehicle. Up here a TRX is $130 new. So of the 3 they have shown, the 5.7 will tilt around close to $100, the 6.4 should be over, and the big cat will be big dollars well into 130+ range. It's all getting too much.
I gotta find some old 80's vehicles in good shape. lol.
Ok, rant over.
Yes those new trucks are going to be pretty sweet.

polyol ester is a reacted alcohol and acid, not crude.

PAO Group IV is reacted ethylene gas C2H4, which can come from various hydrocarbon sources. Usually natural gas (which Group III GTL also uses), or cracked crude.

Why would anybody run 0W-20 after Lake's test results. 0W-30 or 5W-30

Speedway fuel mix-up leaves dozens of drivers stranded, state inspection underway :: WRAL.com https://share.google/WajXkuyA9uk84JgJ0

There's a tanker driver looking for a new job...

I drove a fuel tanker for about a year way back. This was when unleaded was just taking off. You had to make sure you were putting unleaded in the unleaded tank, that most times back was a once leaded tank converted over.

If you're used to putting leaded into a tank that has been switched over, it's easy to mess up and drop leaded into the now unleaded tank.

I was listening to two drivers talking one day, and one had just dropped 5000 gallons of regular in the unleaded tank.

He was quite sure he would be looking for a new job after the cleanout.

We know Ram has been busy, but turns out Ford has been too, Godzilla pushrod v8 standard engine. I wonder how cheap I can get one is the only problem I see.

That is all AI.

Let's keep humans employed as long as we can by promoting them.

Yeah those 10 speeds arent the greatest. However Ford and GM extended their service intervals to sell a lower maintenance cost so that could be part of the problem. AND they use ultra low viscosity fluid so Im sure those 2 things contribute to their failures.

Either way IMO they don't come close to the 8HP
