I have been thinking about tinting my OEM tail lights. Is it a good idea to tint the OEM's with the stock bulbs or should I wait till I get some LED tails? Just wondering if the OEM lights will show thourgh if I tint them, only ones I've seen have been LED tails. Thanks!!

I did three coats of niteshades and you can see just fine. might want to only do the reverse light area 2 times so you still have some light. Thats what i did and works great. No LEDs needed.

If you do it, look at the videos on youtube they teach you how to do it really nice. You'll need clear coat, sand paper, and some other stuff.

I'd say go 2 good coats and make the 3rd a light coat, shouldn't need LEDs. For a high gloss shine some people that couldn't polish it enough take it to a body shop and have them shoot it with clear.
