Temp sensor

I've been noticing lately that my outside temp display has been lagging. I'll pull out of garage when it's 35 and it takes a few minutes to drop from 55. I figured that was normal but today when I left work (truck parked outside) it took a full 8 minutes to go from 61 (temp this AM) to 72 (actual temp). 8 min is crazy but I know nothing about where sensor is etc. ideas?

Outside temp sensor is located on drivers mirror. Seems to be a common complaint of it lagging or being inaccurate.

I had the same problem, replaced my intake temp sensor and cleaned my ambient temp sensor and all was good
