Mine's stock height, but if I end up levelling it, I'll get the adjustable components and a proper alignment done.
Oops, just realized this thread is for 2500 trucks, not 1500s. My bad, the suspension stuff I posted may or may not apply.

Mine is stock height as well....so I don't need to "fix" it now?

I think that poster was a little confused, as he mentioned.

Hell, I've driven, towed, 4-wheeled and flexed the snot out of my suspension in the last 13k miles since I purchased it last summer, and it shows no signs of strange tire wear, odd noises or other issues. And it is showroom-stock right down to the last bolt (0ther than the brushguard).

So have at it! Enjoy that rig with confidence.

:)

Haha sorry guys, I'm comparing apples to oranges here. There must be a reason why the 2500/3500 RAMs are built like that. All I was noticing was in the photo the axles aren't centred in the middle of the wheel well, especially the front. On a 1500 that would not be normal.

Yes. They still say no. That our truck isn't a new generation basically even though it has more new features, differences and items than the 3rd and 4th Gen trucks have different. Lol.

Maybe the admins haven't familiarized themselves with all the changes to the 2014 models yet? :naughty:

Well....my truck was built 2/18 and is still in Mexico. It did take a train ride though....South. It has been taking to a port and will be put on a boat to cross the Gulf and over to Jacksonville,Fl. From there it will be put on a train and head North. There is an outside chance that I get it this month.

But on a positive note I found this group buy here on the forum from one of the vendors for a BedRug. This will be the third truck that I get one for. LOVE the product! This is an absolutely killer deal being offered. Take a look.

Hey guys, I have a question.

How many of you have the "Ram Active Air Intake"? I've just been surfing around the Ram website looking at things I wished I had gotten, accessories, etc. and realized that I DON'T have this intake?

I've tried to find a definite answer on the web, and I've even gone through and built a "new truck" and this option is never presented. It also kinda reads like the "Ram Active Air Intake" in a standard option with the 6.4 HEMI.

Am I missing something, is this clearly an option that I just don't have or is this another snafu with the trucks??
:hmm:

I thought that was only on the diesel. Because it's like a butterfly gate that controls the amount of airflow. Right???

I guess it's possible that it's only included with the CTD, it shows up under each engine selection page but I bet your right.

Diesel only. There have been some issues with it so we are better off without it. The issues; filling up with snow, shutter doors not working.

It doesn't control the engine temp it will just change the air path (via shutter doors) from where the intake air is sourced. Front of vehicle or from the base of the windshield or there abouts I believe.
