anyone have the uconnect 8.4? earlier 2day comin home from work I was listening to sir/xm and it swaped to am station by it self thought I did it some how at first but then it did it again within 5 minutes weird, has any with the 8.4 experienced this yet?

There is a thread on here somewhere and someone said their radio was changing stations or something on them randomly. I just remembered seeing the topic a couple of times in the time-line.

I'm loving the mix of power and fuel economy. Mine really started breaking in about 3500 miles. I'm getting 17-19 on the highway right now. Hoping warmer weather will help some as well....

thanks man, i definitely lucked out… I seen the 1500 black outs but never knew the 2500 had the same option until i saw this one. Pain in the ass to keep clean

I hear ya. I have the identical truck. Only difference is mine has OEM flares. Clean is a relative term!

This was my fuel economy during out last snow storm. I was in 4 wheel drive and averaged the same as I did in 2 wheel drive. I had driven about 80 miles and reset my meter just before the trip.



It was all 4 Lane, with all stock and 3.73's also.

According to another forum, this has been an issue and there is an 8.4 update available from the dealer or to download yourself.....

I've been impressed with the mpg. I put 80 miles of good mixed driving today and not easy on the pedal and avg 14 evic.

I also had the uconnect. 8.4 from Bluetooth mix up the song titles on screen.

What trim level to get the battery and oil gauges in dash?

Mine has them in the Bighorn SLT package. I've had the weird switch to AM radio thing with my 8.4A also. It isn't often, but a couple of times.

I'm seeing just under 13 for 100% in town driving. Not bad for a 7200lb 4x4 with a 6.4L and 4.10s.

It's a tuff country 2" kit. It was about $90....

6.4 dude, both your axles look really off centred... you need to get that fixed.
This should fix the rear axle:

And they have adjustable control arms for the front too.
