I have 2 bolts that are sheared at the head. The rear most on passenger side and front most on drivers side.

We were at them trying to get a washer/nut to weld on these 2 but to no avail so we called ita night.

Hopefully better luck today.
I used zinc plated hardware (all I had around) and my buddy was able to weld them up pretty easy...but he has been welding for decades.

My passenger side wasn't to difficult i tried the washer/nut method to get the 2 broken studs i had but being i novice welder i couldn't get a good stick. i ended up getting enough of a nub built up on them to get vice grips on them.

now i gotta do the drivers side but there seems to be a ton of crap in the way on my 15.

I just put the BD Diesel manifolds on. The passenger side was easy only had to drill out one bolt. I used the template with the drill guides. Driver side was a pain to say the least. Good luck to all that do this job. It is nice and quiet now.

My grey matter is a bit dull but I seem to recall a method where one started and heated up the manifolds to soak then took iced water that's at its coldest, maybe with a bit of salt in there for a lower temp, with that being splashed on the manifold/nuts/bolts to break them loose.

I have plans for a set of long tubes, high flow cats, and a pair to the rear out the stock pipes via local shop because I don't have the patience to do it myself. ;-)

I have a standing quote for about $3,500CA all-in which is pretty reasonable considering all of the grief I remember from my youth where buddies and their manifolds were sitting on the driveway with tears because there were broken studs still stuck in the heads. ;-)

If your exhaust shop isn't set up to do mandrel bends, you might want to buy a mandrel bent builders kit, from someplace like Magnaflow.Crush bends will kill any advantage you'd get from long tubes.
If you're in the Red Deer area Flo-Pro has one of the biggest Mandrel benders in Canada.
