Then i started fitting in the projector, testing them, getting the rotation lined up straight, locking everything down and put back together.

Yeah here they are, just normal low beams in pitch black. They can reach much further out but I turned them down a lot so I'm not blinding small oncoming cars [emoji106]113898292bc75e925b0e5d8126e38851.jpg

O yeah and i also had my bed sprayed with LINE-X a few years back so thats a older one i forgot about And before the spray i bought 2 3,000LB D-rings and drilled out the mounting holes in the center/front of my bed, then after the liner i put a 1/4" SS backing plate under each mounting location under the bed for added strength/pulling force distribution then mounted my D-rings for MUCH easier multi-bike strapping down or just all around load securing options. Ill take a pic of that here shortly so you can see

Next i finally decided after this many years on the stock shocks it was time to get new ones, not to mention the truck was starting to really squat with just my one bike in the bed so those babies were clapped for sure lol. So i decided i was gunna do the Bilstein 5100's all around and swap out my coil spacers for the lift struts, I ordered them along with new upper strut towers and lower bushings n bolts and i also checked all my suspension components to see if i could use anything, all was good. I installed the rears right away but put off the fronts until i could use my buddies shop (and all there tools) because i knew what a PITA it was gunna be.
Just installing the rears made SUCH a huge ride quality difference, i guess 9 years is a long time for a stock shock :anitoof:

I believe this is the point where i realized from the detailing section here, that i treated my trucks paint HORRIBLY :favorites68::banghead:. I knew literally ZERO about proper washing techniques, ANY products like sealants or waxes or coatings etc, nothing at all. I hand washed my truck 90% of the time just because i liked to, but i must admitt to taking it through some horrid autowashes and thinking nothing of it. Anyway goes without saying, my paint was swirled to all hell lol. So i decided i wanted to fix that, i did a lot of reading on here in the detailing section, went through lots of threads, saw jay always mention Autotopia so i read a bunch there, and with the help of a friend on some product choices and tips i bought a porter cable DA and all kinds of stuff to not only fix all the damage i caused but prevent any further damage, and everything needed to start doing proper washes. once everything arrived i waited for a time where i could leave work really early friday and have the whole weekend to do it because i knew it was gunna be a lot of work

While waiting for that time to come i managed to get some time to get up to a extremely remote hardcore off roading area that is also a PARADISE for any extreme enduro rider such as myself. So during the gnarly drive up there to be able to unload the bike i took a few pics :pics-****:

And finally i got the time to go to town on the trucks paint. It took me 36+ hours of straight work, only breaks i took were quick bathroom breaks and to eat real quick then back at it. It made a night and day difference, soooooooo much work but definitely worth it. heres a few pictures of the swirling, obviously the entire truck was this way

LOL this is EXACTLY how i feel when i think of how i would wash my truck back then

go drive through a self car wash, you will have the same face when you see all those people actually using that brush...

or when someone uses dish soap and a bathroom towel to wash their car
