After selling our boat, I have an adrenaline rush gap to fill. Thinking about a Charger Hellcat. A 1000hp hellcat to be specific. Will completely debadge so it will appear bit more tame to the average person. A sub 10 sec sedan would be fun.

Convert, for now.
Engine
small
I had a listed 2015 Ram, had the itch, sold it and bought a 2018 Charger 392 Daytona, LOVED it for about 8 months, traded it in on the 19 I have now. If I could have a toy, it'd be a HC, Widebody or Trackhawk

Find a cat Charger with a blown engine and drop in the Hellephant. Then invest in the tire company of your choice lol.

External dimension wise all 3rd gen hemis are identical, save the front cover differences between non-VVT and VVT engines and obviously the ones with blowers lol. You could dress down a 392 based 426 stroker and tell everyone it's an eagle 5.7 and only someone who really knew what to look for would know any better. Hellephant will bolt right in. A custom tune later and it will blow that 8HP90 apart bwahaha. Time to upgrade ZF internals lol.

Since I don't have the time or shop to take on such a task, I'll just buy one that's done. Like driving more than wrenching.

The physical swap would be easy, but then you'd need to take it somewhere to be tuned properly anyway

Especially with those fat ass 305's they have at every corner...the wide body treatment definitely looks better on the Charger; doesn't interrupt any body lines like on the Challenger.

I have ridden in a bone stock Hellcat Charger and it is more than enough for an adrenaline rush on the street. The traction control is leaps and bounds above what is in the Ram. I've never felt a car go from wheelspin back to power when traction returned so fast and so smoothly. You can tell it is pulling power but you never lose that smashing your stomach into your spine feeling. 1000hp would require drag slicks and dry roads to enjoy. I think stock is plenty and I rarely say something like that.

I had a 392 Daytona for a day while my truck was in the shop ( my dealership is the best ) it was a very exciting car to drive, it doesn't get very warm around here so it was always hunting for traction ( even driving mildly ) until after 15-20 minutes when the tires warmed up. The 392 has a great sound to it as well.

I can't imagine what a hellcat version would be like, but that wine is defiantly an eargasm.
