Moneys down... Hopefully I'll have this soon....
My 05 Daytona has been an awesome truck but she's going on 9+ years old and is approaching 362,000 miles. I thought about keeping her up but unless you replace every part, it's like playing Road Russian Roulette with 5 bullets. You never know when she's going to strand you but the odds are higher. I got stranded for only the second time and under some rough conditions (first time; last year; fuel pump). The second (and last in this truck) was on this past Tuesday when I was trying to get home and got caught up in the winter storm that hit Atlanta. 30 minutes into the drive my Alternator went out and 5 hours later while still grid locked in traffic my battery died. Stranded, no heat, getting dark, snowing and temperatures dropping. I had to hike it 3 miles up hill to the nearest part of civilization...The rest of what has happened since then (2 days later) is another story...
