I have the 13 Laramie cc with everything but 8 speed and like it. Interior is what made me pick it over a king ranch. It is a very nice interior. Would of had the Laramie longhorn, but only ones they had close by had the etching in the seats and I didn't want that.

Depends all on the look you want. Chrome or color matched exterior? Do you want black interior or tan and brown? Buckets with console or bench? Those are the main 3 deciding factors as sport and laramie can be optioned pretty much the exact same way

Hey man. I just bought a 1500 Big Horn and I love it. I test drove a Laramie also while I was at the dealership. I would personally say go with the Laramie because you're still gonna get that awesome power but it'll come with all the creature comforts. I personally picked a big horn that has the bench seats in the front and it's cloth, I like being able to not worry about messing up nice seats but that Laramie was such a nice truck.

See, having had both, I find leather MUCH easier to care for. Just wipe and walk.

I really like both. The body-colored bumpers and grille of the Sport look really clean, but also mean. The chrome of the Laramie gives it a little bit of a more classy look. Personally, I like the Laramie with chrome and lower body-cladding.

I was in the same boat I thought I really wanted the Sport the look, the hood actually make the truck look even meaner even if it is not functional it is still just plain awesome looking. but when I was comparing option to option the Laramie just has more they are not and can not be made the same I spent weeks trying to figure out how to, it just couldn't be done. I ordered a Laramie and will figure out a hood down the road. I hope the 8 speed lasts a good long time that is my only worry. it should it has some pretty good testing behind it, hopefully we didn't mess it up. I drove a 11 Sport and a Laramie with a 6 speed and a 13 with an 8 speed. I just want mine to get here. Hurry up Train.

BTW I would own any trim level Ram I just wanted plenty of bells and whistles to keep me entertained for awhile.

I have had plenty of trucks this one is going to be amazing

I have the Crew Cab Laramie and love it. I had a cadillac before switching back to the Ram (for the 3rd time) and had to find one that had all the "bells & whistles" to even come close to the caddy. Ram does a very nice job with the Laramies. Plus, if its going to make the wife happy to spend more money & have a nicer truck, sounds like a no brainer to me!! Win win situation for you! I'd go that route.

My $0.02: I have the sport with cloth seats and could not be happier. Leather cracks over time and repair is expensive. The perforated leather rips at the perforations like connect the dots. Cloth can be coated with stain guard and shampooed.

As far as options, the only thing I don't have on my Sport C/C for $8-10K less is big ass chrome bumpers, heated leather seats and Ram boxes--yawn. The only thing I regret is the Ram boxes.

Sport CC. I really wish I had gone with the crew, but I needed the extra bed space when I bought my truck.

Laramie and sport can be ordered identical other than you can get a front bench seat on the Laramie, optional tan and brown interior on the Laramie, and sport hood on the sport

Thanks for all the input...Decided to go with the Laramie with the 8 speed. It really came down to the options. Will be doing a lot of traveling (daughter plays travel softball).

Once I sell my Gold wing I will be ordering. (Selling due to no time to ride and I can't stand seeing a great machine just sitting there.)

Congrats on making the decision! Definitely post some pics up once you get delivery of the truck because I'm sure that thing is going to be a beauty

What I did when I bought my truck was asked for an extremely low price that I knew they wouldn't agree too, that way I could get them to come down from sticker price and still think they were getting me to pay more than I was willing. Sticker price on mine was $45,000 (rounded) and I got them down to $36,000. So that gives you a ballpark of how much you can get off sticker.

I went in and said I'd pay $32,000. So basically he met me half way. What I didn't tell the salesman was that I was willing to pay $40,000. So I still paid less than I thought I was going to have too.

It is a lot easier to get them to drop when you take one off the lot. Not usually as much when you special order
