So I wanted to find out what the folks running the Power Wire think of it. I just soldered the resistor in on my lunch break, but haven't driven my truck yet to see how it feels.

Those that have it/have run it, what was your experience with it and was it worth the time for you?

I tested 1 of these at the track years ago on my 03 hemi. My air/fuel did richen up a bit, but I never saw any increase in track times or hp gains on the dyno. Back then, custom tuning wasn't available, so I ran it just to keep me from running lean. With all the tuning options we have now, I don't think there is much to gain from this.

Yeah, on my way home last night it seemed that I could feel a little difference, but nothing like I would think that a 8-10 HP gain would show.

Its useless unless your truck is running dangerously lean for some reason. More fuel (richer a/f ratio) does not equal more power. It's actually less. If you were cramming more air in to make use of the extra fuel, then you'll see an improvement. But just dumping extra fuel by making the computer think it's getting colder air than it actually is will not have any positive effects.

Thanks for the input - I had it on for like a day and pulled it off the next. I saw 0 improvement and didn't see anything bad either, but I'm glad I made my own and didn't spend that 40 bucks.
