Have thinking a lot of upgrading my audio system.
I want to go with:
Dodge Ram 02-12 Console Subwoofer Box
Rockford Fosgate P1S4 12 12" P1 4 Ohm SVC Subwoofer | eBay
Rockford Fosgate P300 2 Punch Series Compact 2 Channel Amplifier 0780687328412 | eBay
New Rockford Fosgate PEQ Remote Bass and Treble Knob | eBay
Rockford Fosgate Renegade 8g AWG Installation Car Amplifier Wiring Power Amp Kit | eBay

What do you guys think ? Just want a good sound system, nothing crazy.
Am I missing anything ? (farads etc...)
Where would you hide all the wires ?
Thanks

Convert, for now.

Looks good to me, pull seats, hide all wiring under carpet.

This is a good set up, two suggestions though.

1. Definitely use 4 gauge wire.
2. Consider a 4 ohm DVC sub and mono amp. Easier to increase power and efficiency.

You may be able to get the wires there without pulling the seats. I put one of my amps under the driver's seat and was able to get wires there without pulling the seat. It's not that much further to the middle. A coat hanger will be your friend in that situation. I ran my wires to the driver's side of the truck, pulled all the plastic trim off the floor and stuck the wires under the carpet down the cab.

Good point, definitely will change for 4 gauge wire.
As for the amp, im getting a 2 channels so that I can bridge it to 300 W @ 4 Ohms; which should match the sub.
Rockford DVC are twice the price, and mono amp are more expensive too.

If you tell me it`s really worth it, I may do it. But because of price, I`d rather stick with the SVC and 2 channel amp if possible.

Thank you for your help.

Stay on budget! I'm only running 300 watts from an mb quart amp to an MB quart 10 and I'm super happy with my setup so I'm sure you will be too. Cheers!

I recommend changing out door speakers. It makes a world of difference in the sound. If you just up the Bass you kill out the vocal's and mid's. If you don't want to do amplified door speakers the Alpine type S works well. I might have went over board on my set up but my taste in music is very diverse and that's why I upgraded my entire system. Hiding the wires is real easy. I used an electricians snake on mine. pulled it from the Firewall down beside the tunnel to the back.

Oh Yeah.
Don`t worry, I was planing on that too. But can`t do all at the same time because of bubget. But soon enough, I`ll get the 6.5" Power component system from Rockford too (I like to go with the same brand when upgrading the whole system).

I try to do that to but then i just look at whats brand is really good for what it is like I really like the rockford speakers and rockford and alpine amps, kicker subs and kenwood head units I try to stay with those brands because i know that there reliable and sound good with what they are best at just throwin that out there. I would just mix it up

I kno what you are saying. As you can see, \/, mine is all Alpine. I am a firm believer in staying with one brand. Makes the install much cleaner. But you'll get it.

Best upgrade I've done is Hush-wrapped the door panels (dynamat, same product basically). My 03 plastic doors resonated a terrible sound and rattle.
Quality of audio will be tremendously better.

Strongly recommend if you can spare the funding

I was thinking about doing dynamat on the doors.
So, you just get rid of the white plastic cover then ?
And where did you guys put your crossovers ?
