was considering replacing door speakers in my 07 quad cab ram, but now thinking about a powered subwoofer box, anybody use one? Running kenwood ddx418 head unit, really just wanting some more bass, and don't think just door speakers would accompllish that. Found this powered sub Kicker 11HS8 Hideaway™ compact powered subwoofer: 150 watts and an 8" sub at Crutchfield.com
and figured it would fit my needs well. Fit right under the seat so it won't take up and space in the back, and hopefully give me what I'm looking for. Any opinions on this unit?

I got some mtx 10 inch woofers under the back seat in a mtx thunderform box powered by a mtx 400 watt amp. it has nice hard hitting bass and it was well worth the money. dont buy those wooden boxes. I had one with some rockford fasgate 10's and it sounded horrible. you can find those mtx sub thunderforms on ebay.

That's about all you can other than building a console box if you don't want to lose your under seat space. I'm half way through a build on a box that fits inside the center seat. It's going to look 100% stock and was actually really easy to do. I came out under $200 on box sub and amp on a 10". If you don't want to build your on the right path!
