Hey guys, I need some information about the "totally integrated control module" is that a part I could get used and flashed to my truck? or should I buy new? have had a lot of problems and now I need to replace my starter and my TICM and want to stay under $1500

I am aware of the TCM (Transmission Control Module), PCM (Powertrain Control Module), ECM (Engine Control Module), but I have not seen, heard or read about the TICM...

For starters, Year, model and Engine size in your truck would greatly help as well as which transmission you have if we are talking about the TCM.

I think we're talking about the TIPM which DC started putting in the Ram in 2006. The last time I got a quote from the Dealership to replace mine it was $650. The starter isn't too much to replace so I would think you would be well under $1500.:welcome:

Still in '02 with my old ride... Will get there eventually...

Just Googled TIPM and now I know what it is! I also found a lot of links to lawsuits against Chrysler on this part as well...

But if I were you I would look for one in a salvage yard... Most probably as good as new but a heck of a lot cheaper.

Yes I BELIEVE, the Totally Integrated Power control Module (TIPM) can be bought used and flashed. Maybe someone can confirm...
