I'm wondering if this could be wise preventative maintenance thing for Ram owners. Dab some dielectric grease at the base of every pin for the TIPM connectors. It might prevent salt spray from wicking up the wires and into the pins.
Good suggestion. I do this on our ATV connectors when brand new. One machine is 14 years old, so far no electrical issues at all.

Starting to happen again. Last fall for the first time in a few years I’m using the truck as a daily driver. Over the years the wheel liner was in hard shape so I just completely cut off part of the front side not thinking anything of it. When I popped my hood tonight. The engine bay was full of salt/sand. Same with the fuse box. ‍♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️
This is why this is happening to me. The green plug with my problems is near the open side of the fuse box underneath. So everything from the road is just shooting up into the bottom of the box.
Looks like I need a new wheel liner lol. I cause myself some headaches sometimes.

In my opinion after inspecting the area around the TIPM has a bad design flaw the bottom plug location is exposed to the elements you can see right down to the wheel well I'm gonna make a shield underneath for my 2016 Ram 2500 to stop the moisture and salt from reaching the TIPM connector plugs.

Yes. I after the last repair I pushed a rag down there lol. But a shield of some sort would be better

Does anyone have a working link to the replacement kit for the whole assemble? I’m talking wire, pins, and connectors? Basically a new harness and wires with pins.

I have this very same issue on my 2014 ram. I have 2 wires broke/rotten off my green connector. And 3 wires broke off my blue connector. Does anyone have a pinout for the blue connector as shown for the green connector on a previous comment? Would really help me out.

Go to the Mopar connector site:
Scroll down to select year and then select platform
Scroll down to Assembly-Power Distribution Center
Find which C3 to C7 is yours
It will list the terminal repair part numbers for each wire gauge and the pinouts.

If you need the green connector, google Yazaki 7287888460. The other connectors will have the last tw0 numbers different. Blue ends in 90, Light Grey ends in 40, Black ends in 30.

Earlier this year, I bought a travel trailer. Anyways couldn’t get the break lights to work. Everything else worked. So I started checking the power on the plug, everything had power except the tail/ break lights. Weird. So I figured I had more problems. When I was digging into the harness I thought I should check the connector for more broken wires. Turns out I had one of the pins put in the wrong place. I put that one in just one slot to the side that wasn’t being used. Even after doing this a couple times and double checking everything .

Take your time, it’s time consuming work. lol double check everything too. lol

That is depressing that this is happening on a 2013-15. You can bet this is going to be a major rust belt problem going forward.

I wonder if a shot of fluid film on the underside of the TIPM from time to time would help keep the green crusties away.
If you have time cleaned because time by time getting in and getting bigger problems. I’ve the same issues for me even I changed TIPM.
