I'm torn on what my next mod will be. I'm trying to slowly build my truck up one mod at a time. I just can't decide between a tuner, CAI, or headers. I've done a little research on them and from what I've gathered so far I'm leaning towards Superchip flashpaq, S&B intake, or shorty headers (unsure of brand). The only thing I have done performance wise so far is a magnaflow y pipe and si/do full boar single chamber muffler. Thanks for the help.

I agree. I would go with that Superchips first. From there, add intake and ported TB, and then headers last. All combined, it is going to make a huge improvement for your truck.

Good info. Good info. It's gonna be tough for me to do headers last because I'm a sucker for a loud truck and I want to get every decibel out of her that I can lol. Is the flashpaq my best bet for a tuner? I want to get a good product but I'm not looking to drop a ton of money for top of the line. I don't plan on getting a custom tune or anything like that.

Yes, the Superchips is very hard to beat when it comes to bang for buck. Unless you plan to have it custom tuned, you wont find a better tuner for your truck.

And I understand on the headers. If you are looking for easy and affordable, we have 2 sets of the BBK ceramic coated shorties in stock. These are only $399 shipped, and they bolt right up to the factory Y-pipe.

If you can swing it, I will make you a great deal on the headers and Superchips combined. Just let me know, and I will shoot you a PM with a price.

I have a 4WD and I may be wrong but I think I remember reading on another post that the BBK shorties don't fit on 4WD. They may have been talking about Pacesetters though.

They claim they dont fit the 4wd's, but only because they have not brought a truck in there for testing. We have a dozen 3rd gen customers with 4wd trucks that are running them. Now, we also tested them on a 4th gen 4wd, and they did not fit...but they do fit on the 3rd gen 4wd's.

I don't know what happened. I was sitting in class and I start talking with Matt and I felt a sudden urge to spend money. Now, what to tell the wife...

Yeah I spent the extra money for the good ones.

Tell her on the way to class you noticed the stock manifold had cracked some so it needs to be repladed. You have priced stock replacements vs aftermarket and the aftermarkets are cheaper and make you happier. It should work, if not just tell her ya lover her alot lol. Mine hated new mods.
