Tire Sensor and Rust Check

Hi All I have a couple of question that I’m hoping to get advice on

1 Tire pressure sensors I will be putting winter tires on steel rims and was wonder if I should purchase Mopar sensors or are there good aftermarket ones out there that someone can recommend also may a reset tool for when I change rims.

2 I had the electronic anti corrosion device installed when I purchased the truck in 2018 but was thinking of maybe also do rust check as well, what would anyone recommend as Canada Ontario road salt can play havoc on the body.

Krown protection was tested at one of the Universities and was “clinically” proven to extend the life of body panels in the Canadian winter road environment over an extended test period.

TPMS? Can’t suggest a brand here. My summer wheel tire package came out of Florida (OE Wheels) and I opted to go with a German sensor that used metal black chrome valve stems. Basically a bolt on and go, I did not have to activate or sync them to the truck at all.

The electronic anti corrosion devices are a scam and don’t do anything.

I can however also vouch for Krown I have it applied every August.

2016 ram 1500 with very very little surface rust just starting. I am also from northern Ontario so I know your pain of the salt

I had bad luck with aftermarket sensors, they would go blank anytime i drovr for longer then about 15-20 minutes. Switched over to OEM ones and problem gone. Dealer say they have seem the problem multiple times with aftermarket sensors.

I always use the OEM sensors, just shop around for a good price.
