Ok guys I am torn between these two tires cant decide what to pull the trigger on.

I do some beach driving, trail driving when I go hunting and it snows a good amount here in ny.

Help me decide!

275/60/20 - nitto terra grapplers g2s
275/65/20 - duratracs with e rating

I had the Duratracs on my last truck. Best tire I've ever owned. I'm in northern Ontario and get tons of snow. I put 60,000 km on them before trading truck in and still had lots of tread left. As soon as my new factory tires wear I will be getting the Duratracs again. I have no experience with the nittos so can't give an opinion on those.

Good to know from Northern ontario too and just put a set of 285 70 17 duratracs... seem pretty good on wet and dry so far ... hasn't snowed much yet though

I did the g2s in the stock size(275/60R20xl). On road they are a comfortable ride and quiet. Wet traction is better than stock Goodyears. Haven't been off road yet but I'm sure other will chime in.

I have the Nitto G2 tires in 275/65/20, have had them for about 2 years, love them. Not really any road noise. I used to have the first gen Terra Grapplers on my 2004 ram. Got 60,000 per set on that truck went through 3 sets before i sold it. Wont put anything else on my truck. Keep in mind, make sure your front end is 100%, or you'll chew up any tire faster. I believe nitto also has a tread life Warranty on their tires. To my knowledge duratracks dont. Someone may correct me on that though.

If nitto is an option, I would suggest swapping that choice out for Toyo AT2 tires basically the same tread but with a higher mileage rating and better road hazard type warranty.

I ran the Toyo on my last truck and they were awesome all around. New truck has BFG KO2 though.

I like my 37" G2's so far, dad got the same in 295/70/18. The Duratracs are MUCH more expensive than the G2's.
