Looking to get a toneau cover. Just wanting to see what everyone has and what the majority choice is. I'm wanting a hard one, and preferably a tri-fold. Has anyone had trouble with a trifold leaking? What's the trifold of choice?

For the money i would look at tonnopro. They have a really good warranty on their stuff. If not worried about money then i would go with extang or the bakflip brands. I myself went with a low profile style so i dont have any experience with the trifolds.

I have a TonnoPro tri fold and it works great. It generally does not leak around the cover, but water can get in around the sides of the tailgate. If you look at how it fits to the bed there is no way to seal it, especially with those strips you get with to cover. The gaps are just too big and uneven. But it generally is not an issue.

Thanks for the input guys, my main concern is if I get a tonneau cover, i'm going to be taking the drop in line and tossing it, i would really like to get a bed rug, but my dad had a trifold/bed rug and he said his bed rug was always wet, luggage wet, etc. Regardless I'm going to get a tonneau just depends on the liner/water reviews.

Has anyone has the mopar hard fold tonneau? Any positive reviews on that one?

I have pace edwards jack rabbit. It's retractable hard cover. If you use your bed a lot it's definately worth it.

You are saying there is no way to seal it at tailgate?

I have the Mopar (Part # 82212920) 4 panel fold up and i really like it but..... it leaks.

Only along the 2 pivots, not the center one.
Have to do some strategic placing of cargo if its raining out, otherwise i carry a tarp and just lay it over everything while tarvelling.

I like the 4 panels as it gives you a bit more bed space.
Has two locks, one at rear and one at front.

You can flip the section nearest the cab open to get access there as well.

If you need watertight, this will not work for you.

I have the bak flip VP and love it. It sometimes leaks a little but some times it does not.

Seems that the only way to guarantee no water is a one piece or vinyl top. I might give the extang a go

No problems with water on my bakflip f1 so far, but our water has been of the frozen variety since I put it on, so I can't say for sure.

I definitely love this cover though!
