I found a couple old hand tools that my grandfather had back when he worked on old Mopars for my Mom's 6 siblings to drive.
They were of course rusted beyond belief from hanging on the wall for probably 30 years. But that doesn't mean their life was over...
Here is what I started with... a pipe wrench and a C clamp

After I used some naval jelly to get the rust off

I found some orange paint specs on the pipe wrench so I assumed it was originally orange back in it's prime. So of course, I had to use Hemi orange on the Pipe Wrench and then a dark metallic grey on the C clamp for their final result of what looks like a couple brand new tools
I may end up Plasti-Dipping the handle of the pipe wrench, but haven't decided for sure yet
I also thought it was cool that I found a patent date on the pipe wrench of 1916
And of course... here is one of the old Mopars from the good ol days, still sitting in the garage... oh how I would love to get my hands on this car...
