Diesel is the way to go, only $2.65/gal while all my other stuff uses premium at $ 2.89 + per gal get 760 mile range instead of 380 mile range on gas, thus can reach destination without worry on finding open gas stations during holidays.

Don't try and push that heavy diesel through mud or snow. Otherwise nice truck.

Noted, but will not launch boats or go off road with a trailer,

But i do have an LR3 if i want play in mud or heavy snow, 7,700 lb tow rating.

The reason i bought this unit no one wanted a 2wd , work grade HD vinyl seats, column shift, no blue tooth etc.

The motivation was, $16,000 off of msrp only 8 miles on odometer, 17,700 lb tow rating, and crash rated.

In hindsight i rationalized the 380 lb weight saving not having 4wd (most of the added weight on front which already has a 1060 lb lump of an engine) and associated higher maintenance cost. the scales i drove across showed the truck weight as 7,550 lbs
