Ya, but that trailer is specifically designed for that boat so you don't have to make adjustments... Also, please tell me you didn't actually haul that around... 20,000# +trailer on a bumper pull!?!?.
Just like flatbed trailers, boat trailers are pretty universal. You move the bunks/rollers forward/backward to adjust the weight properly over the wheels and so the tongue weight isn't too high....just as you would a truck on a flatbed trailer.
I agree with the rest of what you said though.. he needs to compare his suspension to another 03+
