Im due to rotate my tires. Will the TPMS sensors swap on the display on my truck so it tell me the correct pressure for the correct tire? Or will the sensors will have to be swapped around. The 11's tell you pressure of each tire on the EVIC display.

Matt, I believe now a days they work trough proximity to that particular hub. No way would you have to take the tires off to swap sensors every rotation. I say that because on my last car i had a wheel that was flat, when I put it in the trunk and drove home my light never came on because the spare has a sensor also......but the sensor on the flat tire didn't register while in the trunk.

Hmm maybe. When I had a flat on the truck. Eventually that sensor went dead till it was remounted back on the truck.

I guess I'll find out today when I get my tires rotated and new lug nuts.

I hate the chrome cap lugs and I want chrome plated instead. Plus I have an issue with the front wheel lugs

i wanna say the TPMS sensors will relearn there new location after driving for a bit that is if they are still like the 2010 model. i watch my tire pressure all the time and they always relearn their location right away

Great question , what about when you run a separate set of tires / wheels, summer / winter , surly you don't need to move the sensors?

You don't have to swap anything out. Its like buying new wheels. Its doesn't matter. Rotate your tires or put a different tpms in it, wont change anything.

When I've rotated my tire's, I've never had a problem with the sensors. I did believe they relearn the new position.

I swap out wheels every winter and have never had an issue with the different TPMs being recognized

my issue still exists. I think the module is bad because swapping tires around it still the same ones that go out. I just ignore it now. I can check the pressures myself and I have a 2nd set of wheels for summer that don't have sensors in them and the light is on all the time. I wish it can be turned off permanently.
