Drove through a puddle ( not real fast) tripped the tps and wouldn't stay running I had to unplug it to get back then replace it.it happen 3 more times after that the same way but slower. Any ideas will help please.

But was it a factory replacement throttle position sensor or an aftermarket one you installed as the replacement? The aftermarket ones are very picky sometimes. I had a 97 that if I used an aftermarket map or o2 the truck ran like crap so I had to go buy oem sensors and it ran fine.It just mounts to the side of the throttle body by 2 screws and a plug
So it’s not a factory mopar part. You should try swapping it out for a factory mopar sensorI got it from O'Reilly auto parts
