Ok so I bought a 2001 Cummins 2500. The previous owner put a 4.5 tuff country lift on it after a couple months of me owing the truck and now rebuild the front end. The track bar is now hitting the front diff. Any suggestions. I’m stumped at this point.

Some pictures of the setup and showing it hitting would help. Did you replace the track bar? Is there a drop bracket? What did you rebuild in the front end?
I'm assuming it didn't hit before you did the rebuild front end?

I’m waiting for my shocks to get here. Yes there is a drop bracket for the track bar. Yes it was hitting befor then.

I guess that sounds good but the old track bar was the same length and curve as the new one. Probably explains why it looks like the driver side tire sticks out more than the passenger side.

Couple of questions...

What control arms are being used?

Are you sure it's a 4.5 inch spacer? Those things look like a stove pipe under there.

Many of these 2500 Rams came factory with an aluminum wheel spacer side to center the wheels on the drivers side. It was a poor solution to a real problem but Dodge was ok with it at the time.
The track bar bracket you have will center the axle between the frame if all the other components in the suspension lift are used and installed correctly...and they are not damaged.

You might put up a couple of clear photos of the spacer and arms.

Yes I will post som pics tomorrow. I ended up leaving my truck at work because I didn’t want to get the interior all dirty from work.

I believe I see the problem. Does anyone else?

I'm amazed you can drive the truck faster than 40 mph. The caster is way off!

Do us a favor and measure your control arm lengths Center to Center from the mounting bolt or as close as possible.

Thanks

Ok so top from bolt to bolt is 18.5” bottom is 19.5”. So sounds like I will be stopping by the alignment shop tomorrow. And yes i do drive it 70-80 mph on a regular basis. Seems to drive ok but I guess I’m used to it.

Interesting....

Normally the Larger diameter control arm is on the bottom and the smaller diameter arm is on the top.
Your differential is angled out towards the front bumper at the top, where your interference is.

This is what it should look like...maxresdefault.jpg

The picture is of a 1500, but the control arms, track bar mount, etc, are the same parts
The differential should be perpendicular to the ground, or the top of your front diff should be kicked back slightly.

Please double check your measurements.

Perhaps a call to Tuff Country's tech line is in order. When properly installed, that differential should never be close to the track bar.

The solution isn't difficult, you're simply going to have to a bit of detective work!
