Trans fluid change

Anyone know how many quarts i will need if I drop my trans pan and change the filter and replace the fluid? I know there is still fluid in the system and convertor. I want to install amsoil synthetic since I tow alot. thanks, also its an 07' hemi 4x4 , do these use a gasket or just seal the oil pan with gasket maker?

It should be 6.5 Quarts drain and refill, it should have a reusable gasket...don't forget the filters it has 2.

I personally would do it this way but I would use RTF and make a gasket never believed in reusable ones but that is just my take.

Yes I dont plan to use a gasket , I know they advise to use RTV sealant, the filters came with a pan gasket but dont plan to use it?
