I have a 2015 Ram 2500 5.7 l automatic, check engine light came on, took it to the dealer, dealer says the torque converter and the hydraulic pump in the transmission have to be replaced. This is the second transmission I've had fail in a Dodge Ram, the first one was in a 2012 1500. We don't abused this truck, it has 54,000 miles of light usage and occasionally pull in a camp trailer, we do run a lot of back roads, but we don't necessarily run the 4 wheel drive very often. Is anyone else besides me finding these 65 and 66rfe Transmissions to be less than adequate. And what aftermarket updates can I get to keep this from happening again. Thanks for your time.
