I have a 2008 dodge 2500 with the 68RFE and the upper fluid return line is leaking from the fitting on the case i replaced the threaded o-ring but i drove it to work after words and once it got to temp I’m not sure if it ruined the o-ring once again but it’s leaking about a quart an hour is my guess and I’m not sure if anyone might have felt with this issue and has a fix for it?

Neutral spins the fluid, so park it put it in neutral and figure it out. Maybe something stuck in line? I cant think you want to keep dumping that much fluid. You got a picture? I think you are risking a lot by driving on this bad of leak.

I don’t drive it with the leak the leak started last night on my way home from work it’s a oring threaded fitting but the orings I’ve used to replace it don’t seem to hold up to the pressure.

That's why I think you might have a clog, at least possible. Trace line from your fitting to next fitting and see if you can pass air through it. Have you done thermal bypass? If not that could be it as well, those are known clog points.

this is the bypass it replaced a thermal valve that looks just like it.

You'll probably want to hunt up a legit ORB fitting O-ring,instead of the local auto parts cheap versions
