Transmission just up and quit

I know this is an on going problem on these models but I have never had and hard shifting or any problems with my trans with around 110,000 miles on it but went out to the store today and noticed some slipping on the way there and when I went to leave I made it 1 mile from the store and it went no reverse, 1, 2 or drive within a 10 mile trip any thoughts on what's wrong I've never had one go this fast and the fluid level is fine as well and fresh

when is the last time you adjusted your low reverse band? its true these transmissions do fail but mostly lack of maint. if you haven't done it try it cant hurt...

I adjusted the bands about 3 months ago with fluid and filter change

I would pull the pan and recheck. its possible the band is broken.

Or the filter has failed and caused loss of pressure.

Alright thanks for the advice, gonna tear into it tomorrow and try to see what's goin on
