don’t know if I’m at the right thread. But I’m having transmission issues that I would like to hear some input of, maybe someone else had this issue. I have a 2011 ram 1500 hemi 5.7liter with 5 speed automatic transmission. I decided to act stupid and took the truck off road on loose dirt. The mistake I made is putting it into 4x4 lock position. While I was doing donuts on a loose gravel I heard a pop not sure if it was from transmission or the rocks hitting the truck. Afterward the truck turned off, I restart it put it into D and it moved 2-3ft and as if it slips out of gear when put it into P and back in D it doesn’t move at all. When putting it to R it works obviously fine. Check engine light gives code P0731 that won’t clear. When I lift the rear wheels off the ground the truck goes thru all gear with no issues up to 80mph with wheels spinning just fine. My best guess is that my transfer case. Maybe clutch pack?
