the tire and loading sticker shows combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed 1444
Ok. So 6900 minus 1444 gives you a base weight of 5456.

So front axle weighs 3273 and rear 2182.

Your scale said your loaded weight was 6250lbs and front was 3350 and rear was 2850.

180lb cap 110lb dog 75lb hitch 35 lb dog snd yourself. Any other thing in the truck weighed in too. Looks like your numbers might be close.

A good wdh isn't going to do much if it isn't properly set up. And its not properly set up until its confirmed on a cat scale weighing: 1. Truck and trailer with wdh bars on, 2. Truck and trailer with wdh bars off (put in bed of truck), and finally 3. Truck only. You do this when you set off for your trip when it's the heaviest.

All this is based on my experience. I have a 2017 ccsb 4x4 3.21 too.

First time I thought I had it dialed in right...hopped on the scale and realized I've lost a lot of weight on the steer axle and my drive axle was over loaded.

Reconfigured everything, and bam. Nearly perfect.

The airbags will act as a stiffer spring. So it will help some and won’t hurt anything.

This isn’t correct info when talking about a bumper pull trailer. Airbags or none a bumper pull will remove the exact same amount of weight from the front axle. This is why weight Dist hitches are so important !

This isn't exactly correct either, the fronts lose more weight when just airbags are used. Watch the video: But WDH are important and need to be set up after airbags are inflated.

My point exactly. Airbags do not help when pulling a bumper pull trailer. Besides a wd hitch only 2 other things will help.
1: longer wheelbase or
2: extra weight in front of front axle.
