Just installed BT catch can, Moe's 85mm ported throttle body, and Superchips flashpaq. So much more fun to drive now!:waytogo:A big thanks to Matt at Moe's Performance for the great customer service and advice on the mods.

Haha, just read your thread and didn't realize you had just installed but definitely still curious about how much oil accumulation you"ll have in the catch can with the 85mm and stock air box. I recommend the VR just because I just ordered one LOL. :Rock on:

Its amazing how much of a difference a few simple mods will make on these trucks. These motors have alot of potential.

Why are you changing plugs so early? These engines like the copper plugs the best, no reason to switch to some overpriced plug.

EDIT-Thought the truck only had 800 miles total, my bad. Still don't waste your money on the overpriced plugs, the copper plugs do the job just fine.

If you're OK with removing the factory engine cover and have no worries about rain getting in the Vararam seems the way to go. I have rain, snow & wife approval factor to worry about so S&B it is.

Nothing wrong with the S&B, but the Vararam will fit with the engine cover in place, and rain is not an issue either. The only people that have had trouble are the guys that have body lifts and dont get a longer coupler to help it seal against the hood the way it was designed to. Look up member musclemckeester. He is lifted on 37's and has driven through water up to his grille...no problems with his Vararam because it is sealed off against the hood properly.
