I purchased a 2014 1500 with about 20k on in from a whole sale dealer. I noticed that it was pulling to the left and occasionally I would hear a clunk from the driver side when turning the wheel all the way. I took it back and they replaced the driver side strut and did an alignment. The truck is still pulling to the left so I brought it back and had a tech ride with me. They attempted to rotate the back passenger tire to the driver front, still pulling. They notice that the truck leans a little and say the strut they replaced must have been incorrect and short. They order a factory strut and spring for it. I asked them to put the tires back since the rear tires are definitely worn more than the fronts and would like them to wear as they were. They install it and the truck sits normal, they call me and tell me its all set. I pick it up and there's no change the truck still pulls to the left. So I'm getting frustrated now and ask if they actually test drove it after because there is no change and it is hard to believe they did not notice it still pulling. He didn't like me questioning that and tells me I shouldn't have asked to put the tires back and it probably needs another alignment now that the height is fixed on the driver side. Am I wrong to have wanted the tires put back? I will be taking the truck to dodge for everything else over the next 7 months that I have the bumper to bumper still but I took it back to where I purchased it initially since they cover everything within the first 60 days.

If you have a bumper to bumper with dodge, why wouldn't you have just taken it to them. Your mistake was taking it back to a wholesale dealer who obviously doesn't know what they're doing. I'd recommend taking it in and having them look at it. You should have asked for an alignment angle printout, if your angles are all in and your sitting right, then you may have some bad tires. Just my two tech cents.

Thanks for the response, convinence with where I live and that from my understanding the bumper to bumper covers everything but the tires so if it is something with the tires they should replace them where i purchased it

Hi donofrionis,

The tires and alignment would not be something covered under your 3 year, 36K mile warranty, but if there is another underlying issue, it may be beneficial to have your dealership look at the vehicle. Let me know if you need any further assistance!

There's alignments and then there's alignments.
What I'm getting at is that a lot of shops(including some dealers)that just don't have good enough equipment to do a decent job. There's a lot of old equipment still being used.
You can adjust the crap out of the front end but if you can't check the rear axle position as well you're wasting your time.

They give you any history with the truck?Carfax?
Could it have been hit?
