TSP cam kit questions

First off I know in a recent thread I mentioned about doing one of jay greenes LL cams but also thought about tsp stage 1...
I'm in canada so trying to save as much as possible I was thinking of ordering the tsp stage 1 cam by itself... using mopar performance lift springs as i can get them cheap from a dealership as well as hellcat lifters.. the mopar springs are good for 625 lift... and I believe the cam specs show lift is 582 lift? If I'm reading correct... and as far as using those springs would they just be drop in? No extra shims or locators? As for pushrods I believe stock length work but was curious on anyone who can confirm that? Its for my 16 4x4 with 3.21 gears eventually a 3400 stall and 6.4 manifold.. no longtubes but will run an afe high flow y pipe through stock manifolds.

Phone TSP tomorrow and talk to John Smith is probably your best bet. The springs are a drop in on 5.7 heads. Personally i think you're nuts if you don't do long tubes as well.The stock exhaust manifolds at best are tiny little peanut ports,and that cam will suck with-out long tubes.Why do a cam that should make more mid range horsepower and not do long tubes at the same time,is a **** poor combination.Your truck,but you'll be disappointed doing that cam with-out an exhaust system to let it breath.If you're hung up on no long tubes stick with Jay's little .5 cam as it doesn't require a cam phazor limiter and will make more torque down low.You can use the same Hellcat lifters and Mopar springs on it,and have some decent torque.Talk to Jay about his small cam,i think you can get away with using your stock springs if they're still in decent shape and haven't been revved out to the point of valve float

The longtube thing I understand.. i just don't look forward to having to mess with the bolts and stuff unless I do it at the same time the heads are off... as far as cams tsp is appealing just for canadian dealers...but I know I'll probably have better luck with one of jays since he tunes my truck anyways... maybe I should just stay with the idea of his LL cam... valve springs should be in good shape only 97k km on them... might replace with stock replacements... ill do valve seals just to be safe so might as well do springs too

Ive been looking at all the options for a while now. and everything seems to point back to Jays since he's has out trucks figured out and he can send you a good start up tune.

I think Ill go with the Johnson Lifters instead of the MopArs

You might want to go onto some of the facebook pages and research those Johnson lifters a little more. There's a few guys who've ran them,and you'd be wise to pick their brain on them.Tuned Rams or High Performance Rams and start asking questions about them.

Oem mopars is the only way I'd go on those... 5038784AD.
