Tuner options

So I have heard and read a lot about the diablo tuners and the bully dog tuner for the 5.7 hemi. What I am working on is a daily driver that over time I wil modify, but nothing extreme. It's a CC that will run 34" tires. Which tuner do I need? Which is the most cost effective? This isn't a race truck, but I do want to get the most out of what I put into it. Thanks guys.

If you buy a trinity tuner from Moe's Performance, you get 3 free custom Hemifever tunes. Which will be the best bang for the buck.

What sort of custom tunes would I need? I am looking for a fuel efficient tune, a power tune, and the ability to go back to stock. I also want to be able to account for modes like air intake, long tunes, and larger diameter tires when I get them. I am pretty sure the BD will do that as well as the Diablo, but is one better than the other for this level of tuning?

I personally prefer the DiabloSport tuners. I have personally used them on 3 HEMI powered vehicles with good results.

You don't need the Trinity unless you want the real time display and configurable gauge package. The InTune or I2 will have the same tuning package.

Custom tunes are available and the programmer will hold several tunes at the same time + your stock backup tune. You work with the tuner to configure a tune, or set of tunes, to suit your specific needs.

The DiabloSport units will accommodate future upgrades as you are contemplating above with no problem.

Thanks for the info. I might have a connection to a new i2 for cost, if so is it possible to buy the Hemifever tune after the fact?

The hemifever tune could be bought by itself, but it's $250+

I hate to break it to ya but you are driving a truck. If you bought it for gas mileage then you're pretty screwed.
If you are wanting to add headers, cai and such, get the I2 from Moe's, email Hemifever to get your tunes. He sent me a 87,89 and 91 fuel tunes. each one can be adjusted for whatever your truck has. and then save all those to your hand handle tuner for later use, and run the Diablo "fuel economy" tune.

I understand that I am driving a truck, but when I am on a long haul home or for work where I get on the interstate and roll for 10 hours, the ability to dial up a better fuel efficiency tune would be nice.
