Local car show this weekend and there was only one other really modded out gen 4. I was actually the biggest truck this year which is shocking because usually there are a few silverados on 40"+ tires. The other gen 4 was a 2013 sport loaded out and at 30 miles on the odometer had the frame cut, notched, and sat on the ground. I chased it down later to get a picture of my truck with his and he said it was okay to take them earlier in the day.
So without further a due here is a 2012 w/ 11.1" of lift on 37s beside a 2013 dragging frame.

lmao. I'm a firm believer in a truck should be 4x4 and lifted. I do think the engineering and mechanic work behind what goes into getting trucks to drag frame is pretty cool. Just not for me....at all. Do give them props for the money, work, and time that went into that thing. It was super clean.

I just don't understand why someone would want a truck that low...

Unless they have serious hydraulics and can lift it to match the one with the 11" lift.

I need to add that my buddy in a 2012 ram sport OWNED the burnout portion of the car show. He easily rolled it burning them for an 1/8th of a mile..his shop was located at the end of his burnout so he was able to work on it there. Destroyed his truck with 20k on the odometer lol. His rear rotor got so hot that he tossed cold water on it and it cracked in half. I wouldn't have believe it but i seen it and it did.

I've followed that 'skate board wanna be' since it's start at the shop (Ekstensive Metal Works). Very impressive and beautiful work! Rolls 26"s like nothing.

Love a lifted truck too, but the amount of work that goes into rollin 6's is... 'ekstensive'.

No ****...brand new and laid out on 26's. That's more money in mods than most people will every spend in a lifetime of modding trucks.

The roller is not my style at all my real question what purpose does it serve other then to just simply own it? If he loves it more power to him but damn seems like a lot of money to have now what seems to be a car with a bed.

He owns a print shop also. Looks like he does some amazing work too. I'll probably have him print up some of my artwork for my Severely Twisted designs down the road.

Oh ya that thing is amazing probably some peoples pay check in just the mods alone.

Lol I didn't mean to start a ******* match. I just thought it was super cool and clean ride and an awesome pic opportunity. The guy was super cool at how excited I was for a pic of them together as well. its something I wouldn't do. Hell I probably couldn't afford it haha. But its definitely super cool. I used to be an engineering student so anything like that is awesome. Just wanting to clarify that I give the guy props. I love how clean the bed was implemented you honestly couldn't tell there was anything on the truck that didn't look like it was factory built that way. Sort of a thing like unbroken's truck the attention to detail those guys pay is insane!

Wow that truck is so clean!! Hell of a build. I'm a little surprised at some of the responses on here though. Especially with some of the trucks and "mods" I've seen people do here. I'd put that truck against 95% percent of the trucks on here as there is no comparison. Trucks should only be 4x4s? Come on, give me a break. Great photos OP, I like seeing some contrasting builds.

Regardless I still don't care for the look of most extremely lowered trucks, and they do remind me of a skateboard and frankly i really don't give a rats ass who don't like my opinion about it perhaps you shouldn't be so sensitive that others disagree with your own preferences, I say more power for those that do like the lowered look i just don't, i do however admire the amount of hard work thrown into such a build, but it is still just not my thing.

Ok that's enough gents.

Can we just enjoy the pics, appreciate that this is a RAM forum, and those are gorgeous pics of RAM's whether we'd personally own them or not.

Please keep it friendly.

It's airbagged. It lifts up to drive...it's not permanently that low.
