Uconnect issue...Solved?

Noticed my 2015 ram would not recognize my phone even though that's in the settings.

I deleted my phone and my wife's phone. Now as soon as I try to pair anything it says pairing on successful without even trying.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30 - 60 minutes to force the radio to reboot? These radios have also been known to have the Bluetooth and / or cellular modules fail.

I will have to try that.

Weird thing is it was working yesterday and I went to a car wash last night.

Today, no workie

Where exactly is the Bluetooth module located?

Weird that I go to "connect" and it instantly says failed.

The module is inside the radio and not user serviceable.

Have you tried rebooting your phones? It’s likely a radio issue but wouldn’t hurt to try.

Finally, the Uconnect allowed us to repair our phones.

I am at a loss as to what happened. Seemed like it was connected to the automatic car wash, since that was the only thing done right before the issue. So, we will see if the problem repeats itself.

Strange, for sure.
