Yeah the audio is just like it's supposed to be. As far as the other gremlins in the other update I can't confirm better results as of yet . I can tell you I've been sitting in the driveway for 45 min now just jamming out because I missed the good noise :)

Thank you for taking the risk for the rest of us...Let us know if the voice prompts and notifications are back to normal or if they still scream at you. I'm tempted to give this a try

glad for you uas guys.
I hate that they keep leaving one group of us out. I hope the UAQ folks don't have to deal with it much longer. The whole situation sucks. Hopefully mpgrimm2 can work some magic for you all soon

Hello all. I have the UAS that I got from salvage vehicle and it has worked great from the getgo but not CarPlay. When I plug in I get an error say”there is a connection error with your CarPlay device”. Siri works fine with the VR button. Xm. Hd radio. All other functions are great. I have tried disconnecting battery for a few hours. Nothing seems to fix it. Uconnect said to go to dealer. Dealer said go to call uconnect. Finally a uconnect person said this update was available and that should fix it. I downloaded it and installed it with no issue but still the same message. Has anyone experienced this before. Thanks.

I was thinking, I bet this is like my focus RS upgrade of carplay, usb hub may need to be upgraded. Worth a look!
If your hub has one USB port and one charge only port it's the wrong one

M² Mods.

Well I have the UAQ and my dealer wanted to do the update to 22.5 as he said it should get it. They had it all day today and were unsuccessful at loading it. It went through and failed then when they tried again it crashed. Now I have to take it back in tomorrow. Really convenient.

I have new 2018 UAQ and it shipped with 22.5 and the audio sucks. I think 22.6 is what we all want.

Correct! We need 22.6. People with the uaq will have to wait for a update :/ hopefully it isn’t too bad. If someone has a uas and uaq of the same Version we could do a compare and see just how different they are. Maybe just some assembly logic changes...

So they won't be sending this out OTA?
At least at the moment they aren't. Looks like they may be doing it through the dealers only for now and actually making sure it's right this time before they spread it OTA to the masses. Just a wild guess on my part though.

After listening to it a couple days now, I would say the bass is still a tad bit heavier on the respective settings from pre-september. It's not muffled and flat like it was from the bad update and the clarity is on point. About two bars down from your initial setting on the bass is pretty well equal. The volume control on the voice assistant is fixed and the bluetooth connectivity seems right as well. Just thought I'd give an update and let everyone know all is good so far!

So if I had bass set at +1 last August, I would find a setting of -1 to be about the same?
If so, not bad since I'm at -6 right now.

What did it do to your treble setting? Did you have to turn that down after updating to software ver. 22.6?
Right now I have my treble at +6.

The volume control on the voice assistant being fixed is awesome. Hopefully, it will fix the (similar) volume problem when using Google Android Auto as well.

I should be experiencing all this goodness in about four hours!
