My UAQ has 22.5, and it still sucks, my bass is turned all the way down to make it sound acceptable, and every time i turn the truck off and turn it back on all the voice volume levels go back up to 15, so Speed warnings, Android Auto Directions, text message alerts, etc... So they all scream at me every time they first come on.

Looks we got the same UAQ....I'm shocked at how bad it sounds with my system, compared to my other stock cheapo HU...

zabbu. are you still under 36000 miles?if so warranty should cover it. a tsb just gives the shop a heads up if they come across a specific problem i.e. my radio sucks.just like the tsb says.

I just got my truck back from the dealer this morning. It was in the shop to get the EGR replaced and I told them about the crap audio since the OTA update so they updated the Software on my 18 Ecodiesel. My radio EQ sounds as good as the day I bought it before the OTA update. I am so glad it is back to normal, no more -6 on the bass.

How do you get to this screen to find out what you have. I have a 2018 big Horn with an 8.4 Nav system

Just checked my VIN on the Uconnect Software Update site and it says I am up to date. I sure am hoping that's not correct. I called two dealers in my area to ask if they could run my VIN through their database to see if the latest update applies to my truck. Couldn't get either dealer to check outside of me bringing it in for service. Guess I'll have to take time off from work, make other arrangements for travel and leave my truck a couple days for them to check. Will be super frustrated if I go through all that only to find out the update doesn't apply to my vehicle!

I hadn't heard back from Ram Cares in months, had given up hope and stopped following this thread. However, I messaged Ram Cares via this forum a couple days ago. Uconnect called me today. TSB 08-016-19 REV.C is applicable to my VIN and will update me to software version 22.6. Finally! Too bad it isn't yet an OTA update. Oh well. Have an appointment at the dealer Friday morning. Gonna get a free oil change while I'm there too. Looking forward to enjoying my sound system once again.

See if you can get the update on a thumb drive, might help some of us out considering the don’t want to give the update to the rest of us.

What if you upgraded to a newer radio, will they allow it to be upgraded?

The dealer cannot flash the update to my radio so they are ordering a new one. He swears the new one will come with 22.6 and we won’t have to do anything to it. We’ll see Friday. :(

It does appear that I have UAQ because I do have Nav. Hoping the 21.9 UAQ version fixes things like 22.6 does.

21.9 is the update that caused the audio to get messed up. Its the one we all want to get rid of.

Do you have a 2018 USA truck with UAS 4C radio = v22.6 or UAQ 4C Nav = v21.9 (bad audio) for the update?

You will need to give them a blank 16gb thumbdrive and ask them to copy the update to it and leave for you once done. Recommend you put it in a Ziploc bag with the TSB 08-016-19 Rev C reference & your VIN/contact info so they hopefully get it back with the correct file.
