Uconnect upgrade HELP

I’m trying to install a Uconnect 5gen on my 2014 ram volume won’t work what could I do

What is the part number of the radio? It could be from a Jeep or other brand that could not be communicating properly.

Where did you buy it? Have you reached out to seller for assistance?

Do you have correct connection harness? Where/who did you buy that from? Have you reached out to them for assistance?

The hard thing with upgrades is there are parts all over the place. Does your 8.4 bezel you bought have a volume control on it? Where did you get it, Infotainment? If it does not and you don't have steering wheel volume control on back of wheel you may have no way to control volume. On screen adjustment, even if you can access it, probably won't work. You can buy the steering wheel upgrade kit from All Mopar Parts in vendor section, PM Benny. Installing that may give you control. Also, if your bezel doesn't have volume knob but it has knockout for it you can buy parts at Infotainment, should be plug and play if you have correct harness already installed.
