Uconnect

Hey guys maybe this is a stupid question but I need to know:My Express came uconnect ready but I have to buy the module,obviously it acts as a bluetooth but can I listen to my mp3 and Pandora apps off of my android phone through the stereo or is it strictly just phone calls??

I cant use pandora with mine, but it will play from the music loaded on my phone through the bluetooth.

I too cannot use Pandora.

Everything else is fine for me.

I just figured out on my '12 I can stream music through my phone via Uconnect while using Slacker radio and it works fine over the bluetooth.

stock radio,it came ready for uconnect but it didnt have the module ,got it online for 236 and 64 to program.now it picks up my htc phone whenever i get in it and im hands free

Bumping this thread here.....recently purchased an 09, has the factory stereo system with Alpine speakers, has Sirius, has buttons for UConnect..but when I push the button to set up UConnect it tells me "not available". Stereo has RES in the lower right corner.

I think there is a microphone up in the center console of the roof liner, where the buttons are for the power sunroof and rear sliding window. Looks like a mic.

But I take it even though the stereo has the built in UConnect buttons...you still have to get some option for it?

Yeah you need to by the UConnect module for the button to work. I don't have UConnect in my Ram, but I do in my 2011 Dodge Nitro. I love it. Been waiting to see if I can get a good deal on that module so I can add it to my Ram.

In my Nitro, I can stream from the songs loaded on my phone and from Pandora/Slacker. Just must make sure the BlueTooth cabilities are turn on in Pandora/Slacker and you should be set.
