Uconnect !

Ok guys I have a uconnect subscription mainly for talk to text. My question is when I'm home everything works fine when I'm down by my hunting ground and try to talk to text the truck just says processing then switches back to radio or says no service but I can pick up my phone text or call no problem. What's the deal ?

In my 19 the service is AT&T. Is your cellphone by a different provider?

Uconnect subscription has nothing to do with talk to text.That's accomplished from your phone via bluetooth.Maybe I'm missing something here

If the truck is a 13 to 18 with a RA3 or RA4 radio it does have to have the Uconnect subscription in order for the talk to text to work. It will only work with an android phone.

The Uconnect on the 13 to 18 trucks uses the Sprint network which I believe has been bought out by T mobile. If your radio is in an outlying area that doesn't have good service for the network it's on it will tell you that you have no service. It happens to me every once in a while when I am at my buddies ranch way out in the country.

The 19 and up trucks can only voice text if you are using Android Auto and Apple Car Play. He is referring to the 13 to 18 trucks with the RA3/RA4 radios that are not Android Auto or Apple Car Play capable. These radios can vice text with and Android Phone as long as you pay for the service through Uconnect.

Ahhhh. My 2013 did not have bluetooth capacity for just the phone.
