The rust belt here certainly leaves its mark! I’ve considered Krown, etc, but I hate working on it all covered in oils! I use Fluid Film here and there!Same setup as me. That frame needs some luvin though!
Nice travel trailer!
Ive been impressed with my load lifter bags…something like 5-6 years now, been beat pretty good a few times each summer catching air in the dunes…which they are now the bumpstops, and get used HARD…havnt had a leak yet! Will keep an eye on that fitting on top…i have the same one.
Doing the brakes was a “joy” fighting the rust!I definitely dont envy the condition of your frame LOL
Hows the yoko’s holding up? They look pretty well worn down…how many miles?
I just took the falken atw3’s off mine that i had on for 60k miles (still in decent condition yet) which were fantastic at’s and replaced them with the newish toyo rt trails. Been happy thus far. They are not 3 peak snow rated though, so am a smidge leery on how well they will do this coming winter.Never hit the bump stops on these, I got “catching air” out of my system back in the K5 Blazer days! ;-)

Im pretty happy with them! I’d have to look at mileage, but probably 12,000-14,000? Im going with an aggressive AT next I think!
They are excellent off road, but I don’t get to truly use them often enough to justify the expense! These only cost me just under $800! Part of Discount Tire Direct’s guarantee of my old KM3s! (Tore a lug off one of them! Right to the nylon threads!)View attachment 525266
I bought the Falkens for my daughter’s Jeep Patriot a couple years back! She loved them! Great winter tire for sure! I believe she may still be running them!I just took the falken atw3’s off mine that i had on for 60k miles (still in decent condition yet) which were fantastic at’s and replaced them with the newish toyo rt trails.
