I’d like to upgrade to blue led lights for the interior cab. The only one I’m having issue with is foot light this is what I have on drivers and passengers side. Can I swap this out with the older style without issue ?

Hard to tell what you have there with the glare from the light. Does that bulb pull out?
I put blues throughout the cab and like them very much.

I did on my 2013, went to the old style and they plug right in. Makes it very easy to change out the LED "bulb".

No nothing comes out it’s not even really a bulb as much as like a diode

You can just unplug that, and replace them with the old style. The old style uses a #194 bulb I believe, and you can get any color of that in LED. If you search this site, you should be able to find all kinds of info on this including part numbers for the old style light.

Will the old style lights work on all 4th gen rams? i Saw a few different part numbers but they all look the exact same.

I believe so? The part numbers of the bulb type were used in the older Jeep Grand Cherokees so they have been used for like 20 years. From what I understand, the biggest issue is that some trucks did not have the wiring installed from the factory. My 2015 Express had the wires. The drivers side was hanging out right by the OBDII plug bracket. It was loose and not taped up in the bundle of wires near the steering column. The passenger side was hiding behind the lower kick panel. This side was taped up in the bundle of wires on my truck. Some people have found the light wiring near the blower fan box.

I couldn't find any local junkyards that had any usable Grand Cherokees so I bought 2 new light assemblies on eBay.
