So it’s been a few years since I’ve posted on here, with issues pertaining to the throttle body injection and such. After 4 years, I have managed to fix it (timing was off by 12 degrees) and she’s been a great daily for the past 23k miles. To those who don’t know (probably many), I have a 1989 W250 with a 360 TBI, 727, NP241, and Dana 44/60 with 4.10s. So some of the major work I’ve done includes:
- converted all exterior lights to LED (and got them to work properly)
- installed some KC lights
- Posi-Lok cable actuator installed
- replaced oil pump, but will be rebuilding the engine completely as bearing material was found and has 6 psi of oil pressure at idle (with 20W-50)
Also was very fortunate enough to find a part I’ve spent 9 years looking for- a long bed Macho Power Wagon rollbar. After the rebuild, I’ll get the rollbar patched up and painted, and some more KC lights thrown on it. I’m also currently looking for a Warn bumper for the truck, as I’m over the home built one I bought a few years ago.
Oh yeah, I also got a 1984 D150 too, but she’s currently used as storage for parts off my Polara project.
