Quick question. Can you Plastidip the Vararam lid? I think you could but I'm not sure about heat.

You can use plastidip on the lid. The lid is sealed in the airbox, so heat is not an issue up there.

Saw someone who did it and it looked good. I have it on my exhaust and it hasn't melted off or anything. I'd think it would be okay.

Yeah, so how did you do your tips? Tape off the bumper or what?

When I did my tips i just took them right off. All it is was a clamp holding the tips on the exhaust with one bolt.

I taped off the bumper. It's Plasti-Dip, it peels or rubs off if there's any over spray. Think I'm going to have them powder coated though. Something more permanent. I can see the Dip fading or getting jacked up by rocks someday. It's been on since last summer and still looks good, but I don't know about another set of seasons.
