So since I just posted this in a post I don't think many of you saw it.

My front bumper sits weird and my right headlight does not have the same spacing as the left.
When I took it to the dealership they said I was being to pick and wouldn't even try to fix the problem.

Here's a video of the problem:

Am I wrong?

The dealer here adjusted my whole cab on the frame because the steel part of my bumper didn't line up well with he plastic cap and left a space.

Did you buy your truck new or used?

Keep in mind it is basically plastic. Sometimes vehicles get damaged during transit and the dealer secretly fixes them. But, it is under warranty! So yayyy! Mine was like that until I installed my headlights and suddenly the problem was gone! You also need to keep in mind that typically the passenger headlight is aimed differently than the drivers, so there will always be a slight variation

I have the same issue, I have a chrome front bumper and the plastic bumper piece that overlaps it between the headlight/front grille and the chrome bumper. Have yet to go to the dealership about this issue as I've been so busy with work.:mario:

mine was similar after I bought it new. Didn't notice it for a while. All I did was loosen the two bolts that hold the light assembly in place and wiggled the whole thing and shoved the light to the side and re tightened the bolts. Then adjusted the lights to match each other via the adjustment screw in top of fender under the hood. The gap was off next to my grill also. Aaaaannnndddd, lol, the fender didn't match the hood right above the light on other side so I mashed / pressed down on it a few times lightly and now it matches the contour of the hood. They are still not Mercedes perfect by any means but it is much much better than before. Easy, free fix

I do have plans of getting new headlights here in the truck within the next couple months so I think I will wait till then to pursue fixing the issue. Still ****** me off reading that all you guys are saying its a simple fix when the guy said it needed a whole re front aligning. This truck as long as I have it will be continued to be modded out so who knows maybe an ADD front and back bumpers down the road!

I know my on my friends 2010 2500, he had to space out his front bumper with so he could run bigger tires and not rub. I also remember when I removed my front bumper on my 05 ram, there was elongated holes where you could adjust how the bumper sat.

Reason I'm saying this is it's most likely an easy fix, that you could do with a friend in an hour or two by just loosening the bumper bolts and setting the angle you'd like. Granted it would be nice if the dealership fixed their mistake for you, but seems like customer service is hard to come by these days.

The guy at the dealership literally told me what do you expect you bought a dodge and that was their fit and finish quality.
I'm so mad at that dealership let me tell you.

Here's a pic:

I still think that's how it's gonna look as long as the headlights are aligned right. But I completely understand your frustration. But, it's a beautiful truck so don't let something so simple bother you.

I work on 2012+ vehicles. I had a 2013 Ram 1500 Quad Cab up on the lift and figure I peak up underneath too see how my front bumper is mounted up on the truck. The frame of the truck is what my bumper or rather our bumpers are bolted up to. I'll take a picture tomorrow if I can get one up on the lift again. I am kinda nervous seeing as the frame is bolted to the bumper :banghead:

thanks!

Looking at it I get a impression that it is something to do with the lights but It could be just everything that needs to be realigned aswell
