Magnaflow cat backs have low interior resonance if you pick the street series. I had the street series on my 2017 and loved it. It wasn't too loud inside the truck and had no drone.

I have a Magnaflow Direct-Fit 19439 muffler and I'm happy with it.

It's glass packed, so it will get louder (I'm noticing it already since May). It's pretty quiet at highway speeds. Below 60mph there is slight drone but nothing to drive me crazy. It depends on the speed and rpms. When you open the throttle, people know you're there! :)

All in all quite happy, cost was what I wanted to spend. Wife is happy and my neighbours haven't complained. (yet) :)

Maganflow makes a catback and a muffler kit. Both are very good. Solo Performance is another great option for what you want out of an exhaust. They also make a catback and a muffler kit. Then of course there is Borla which offers a great tone and I think would work great for you. They only offer a catback.

Please feel free to message me for more info and a quote. We can get you set up with an exhaust that fits your needs and budget.

Here's what I did on my former 2500/5.7:

I'm thinking about doing something similar on my '21 Classic.

I've had two different ones, both are/were very good IMO. Loud enough, but not at all intrusive at level highway speeds.

2015 Sport - Mufflex Moderate. It uses the Magnaflow DOD18 and then they add pipe to it so it's a direct replacement for the stock muffler. It was "OK" as is, but then I added 5" tips from Moes' Performance and it transformed the sound - deeper and more mellow.

2020 Laramie - Borla S catback. This is my favorite so far. Overall sound similar to the above, but a little bit deeper and more mellow. And, not sure if it's the exhaust or the way the engine is tuned/fueled, but under full throttle it makes this cool rasp/bark when shifting. Also, I got black tips, which I like much better than the chrome ones I got for the '15 - not only do they fit the overall look of this truck better, but they also don't look dirty...

If you have the stock muffler/exhaust now, how big is the trailer your pulling and will you be climbing grades with it in tow? You might want to test any new muffler out and makes sure the Mrs. approves before deep sixing the stock set up.
